Second-floor remodel in historic Minneapolis home for two young professionals. Yanz Builders and the design team at Joy Architecture seamlessly blended new mid-century modern aesthetics into the beautiful original millwork of this 1890’s Minneapolis home. We reconfigured two rooms into a primary suite, including a full bath and separate walk-in closets for the owners. A third room was transformed into an office, and space from that room was given to the existing full bath to add space for laundry machines. The finished product features new windows, millwork, new wood floors, heated tile floors in the primary bath, and custom cabinetry. Design by Joy Architecture.
